I’ve been using this plant based protein for a while now. As someone who lifts daily and follows a vegetarian diet, I wanted something clean, light, and effective and Nakpro delivered decently.Taste is normal not too bad, not too great. Just plain and drinkable. No strong flavour or weird aftertaste. Worst tasting protein so far
I bought the vanilla flavoured plant protein – and I am never going to repeat this mistake again. I had previously bought Nakpro’s chocolate plant protein – which was far better than this one.Here is what it felt like: Taking a scoop from the pack – seemed fine. As soon as I mixed it with water, I got a strong foul smell. When I tasted it, it had a rotten taste combined with this foul smell. Also, for me it was the consistency of a batter – far far different from other proteins which is more liquid than this one – maybe this consistency is because of brown rice being present in this one.I also had no means to verify if the pack I got was a bad one or in general this is how their vanilla protein tastes.If you ask me, I would advise you to go for any unflavoured plant protein (or Bgreen chocolate – this was my previous purchase and I liked it and am going back to it).

Strong Smell and Artificial Flavor👎
Actually, I’m vegan, so I was using Alpino’s peanut protein in chocolate and mango flavors, but it was a bit pricey. After two months, I thought I’d try Nakpro’s plant protein because it was half the price of Alpino. So I ordered Nakpro plant protein in mango flavor, thinking it would taste similar to Alpino’s mango flavor, but that wasn’t the case. Nakpro’s smell is very strong and artificial, and the taste is like flour. It’s okay for the price, but if you’ve tried Alpino, no other plant protein will taste good to you. Now I’m mixing Alpino’s chocolate flavor and Nakpro half and half so I can drink it comfortably, otherwise, it’s very difficult to drink. 😅 ​​That’s just my opinion. 😄

Protein powder
I bought the chocolate flavoured one. It seems to be a good way to get your protein intake up. Taste is fine nothing absolutely delicious but doesn’t taste repulsive either. Almost like sattu drink with a hint of chocolate and there is a aftertaste of sugarfree because of the sucralose. Didn’t cause any bloating.

Yes it has less protein compared to whey, yes it won’t mix properly and taste is not as good as whey.But you literally comparing it to a product which is double the cost, even the basic raw concentrate protein will cost around 2k.Provided the price the value this offers is great.If you are not able to drink and digest it, doesn’t mean everyone can’t.This is specially great for people who has lactose intolerance.
