Description

Best For

  • Beginners and budget-conscious gym users who want a routine-friendly whey
  • Buyers who like sweet dessert-style flavours more than plain raw protein
  • Shoppers comparing affordable Indian whey options for regular use
  • People who want a mainstream concentrate-led product that is easy to understand

Not Ideal For

  • Strict cut-focused buyers who want isolate-led macros
  • People who prefer unflavoured protein for custom mixing
  • Anyone who dislikes cookies-and-cream style sweetness

Key Specs

  • Protein: 24g per serving
  • Format: whey concentrate-led daily blend
  • Flavour: Cookies & Cream
  • Use case: post-workout recovery, beginner routines, cost-conscious daily protein use

What this whey is really like

This is the kind of product that wins on practicality rather than prestige. It is meant for regular gym users who want enough protein support to keep their routine moving without overpaying for more advanced isolate positioning.

The Cookies & Cream flavour makes it easier for buyers who struggle with consistency on plain whey. That may sound small, but drinkability often decides whether a tub actually gets finished.

The trade-off is that buyers chasing cleaner macros or a less sweet formula may outgrow this kind of blend fairly quickly.

Pros

  • Budget-friendlier than many premium whey picks
  • 24g protein is solid for mainstream recovery needs
  • Good fit for beginners starting a repeatable routine
  • Familiar flavour may help consistency

Cons

  • Not as lean as isolate-led products
  • Sweet cookies-and-cream flavour will not suit everyone
  • Needs fair pricing against stronger value competitors

Who Should Buy or Skip?

Buy it if you want a sensible low-risk whey for everyday recovery and do not need premium macros.

Skip it if you want unflavoured whey, isolate-level leanness, or a more premium supplement feel.

Final TitanFit Take

NAKPRO Perform Whey is a solid budget-range pick for buyers who just need dependable daily protein and a flavour they can stick with.

Most economical raw whey in the market during lock-down!
I’ve been a big fan of raw whey protein concentrate because of their great value for money factor. I’ve used almost 12 kgs of raw whey from another brand until recently when most of the products weren’t available during the lockdown. That’s when I decided to give Nakpro a try – and I got 2 of these Perform Whey Concentrate for Rs. 799 each. The products arrived well in time considering the lock-down situation, well packaged too. I live in Chennai and the package came from Bangalore, that’s where this is made.At the time of writing this review, I have finished 1 kg of this product and just opened the second pack this evening. So I guess I’ve used this product long enough to give a review on.Let’s get into the details and scores (out of 5):Package: 5Product came properly packed without any kind of packaging defect/damageAuthentication: 5There’s a sticker with a code revealed upon scratching that authenticates the product when you text the same to the given number. No big deal here.Texture/Nature: 3The powder seemed “extra” fine to me, something new to me as I’m a regular user of another brand of protein and I’ve never come across such a fine powder. The moment you pick up the powder in a scoop you could easily see very fine particles flying all around the place. Giving it a 3 out of 5 just on a personal opinion, though I can’t say if this is really something to be concerned about.Scoop availability: 5Scoop was right at the top – no digging around to find it, considering that the quantity is also just 1 kg, shouldn’t be too difficult to find the scoop. Sometimes it’s a challenge to find the scoop when you buy huge jars of 4 kg of protein. It’s a black plastic scoop of decent quality.Mixability: 5Mixes well with water as well as milk effortlessly be it a shaker or a glass.Taste: 1Raw whey protein – no taste – just the way (whey) it should be. Can’t help but a 1, as people tend to associate superb taste to a 5 rating here. Smells like delicious milk powder though.Digestibility: 5This might be a factor where it may depend on people to people, based on their body. For me, digestion was never an issue, no noticeable bloating after consumption. Sometimes I tend to fart a little extra if I consume it after lunch around the evening. Pretty normal, I would say. Results: 5It’s lock-down time, and since all the gyms are closed one has to resort to working out at home. I do a full body training thrice a week at my home with a barbell and an adjustment dumbell along with plates with total weight of 20 kg. Helps a lot in recovery, and I must say that it is working as it is supposed to be. I am getting the gains that I should be considering my training intensity. This is not a magical powder that’ll give you super magical gains all of a sudden. I consume 15 eggs a day, chicken/fish 200 grams, and I take 2 scoops of this protein a day. So yeah, works very well for me.Value for money: 5This would be one of the best value for money product out there in the market. You get 24 grams of protein in a heaping scoop (1 serving) of 33 grams.Rs. 799 for 1000/33 x 24 = 727 grams of pure protein.Cost of 1 gram of pure protein = 799 / 727 = Rs. 1.1 (cheapest you can get).Cost of 1 gram of pure protein of my other regular raw whey protein: Rs. 1.56 (this is for comparison, Rs. 5001 for 4 kg of raw whey protein at 80% protein)Note: I would notice excessive foam after mixing this protein with water in a shaker and after drinking it. A quick Google search helped me in understanding that this was common, however I’ve never experienced this kind of foaming in my other regular brand. Will I buy this again in the future?Sure, yes. I don’t care about the taste, this gives me good results at a low price, so yeah. Definitely buying it again.

Under this price best product for the beginners
This protein powder is easy to digest and doesn’t feel heavy on the stomach. It mixes really well with water or milk, with no lumps at all. I’ve noticed good support for muscle recovery and improvement since using it. Overall, a great quality protein that’s simple to use and effective.

It is how it ought to be
I am a Coffee aficionado so you can trust me on this. I’m extracting my time just to write this review in most elaborative way possible.1. The taste is a banger. If you mix it with 250-300 ml of milk, it offers a pure cafe like experience with amazing thickness and taste. With water, it is slightly on the artificial sweeter end. But with milk, it hits all the right spots. It’s not overly or artificially sweet with milk. With water it is still drinkable. I’ve tried the Whole Truth coffee flavour and believe you me, with the huge variance in price point, this protein powder tastes way better because it offers a richer and stronger coffee flavour.2. It’s is not heavy on the gut. It is just what you expect from a good quality whey. I’ve tried pea protein and it was very heavy on my stomach.3. The mix-ability is a little tricky though. With milk, you need to shake it vigorously for long enough duration. With water, it’s relatively easy to mix.4. Here comes the best part, the price. With such a reasonable price, it’s adorable for the quality it gives. It is affordable, effective, tasty, and simply put GO FOR IT.

  4. Veteran User

Poor flavour, but mixes well and doesn’t cause any bloating
Flavour: 3/10. Barely taste like coffee but added coffee myself to make it better.Mixability: 9/10Digestibility: 10/10Packaging: 2/10. The “resealable” pack could only be resealed once and then stopped working. Had to find a container to keep it from going bad from moisture.Effectiveness: Can’t say, not used long enoughFirst time buying Nakpro as I needed a small pack while traveling and this was the only decent option with quick delivery.Ordered coffee flavour but there is barely any flavour in this. I tried mixing with 250ml water and then with 200ml water but still the flavour is very light, and tastes more like chocolate than coffee.I normally use MuscleBlaze blue tokai coffee whey and that is a 9/10 on flavour, while this is 3/10. Doesn’t taste bad but doesn’t taste good either. I made it better by adding some coffee powder.Than being said, I really liked it’s mixability and the fact that it was easy on my stomach. I’m lactose intolerant and many whey proteins lead to an upset stomach for me, but not this one.9/10 on mixability and quality, same as muscleblaze.
